Development
Is your life too jam-packed?
Do you have room to grow and develop or is your space packed to the gunwales? I have found that before starting a new project I need to make some room. What does that mean? Basically it’s about you cleaning up your environment whether that’s your office, your home or even your wardrobe!
Your clutter can be weighing you down meaning there is no space to take on anything new at all. It can be really hard to let go of some old stuff, the memories, the attachments and the feeling that you might just use it again now that you have been reminded that it exists.
But the clutter is stagnant, old energy that is blocking something new from growing. It weighs you down and can even make you feel lethargic and really stuck. A good clear out is as good as a new lick of paint. Or it is the feeling you get when you’ve had your hair done. That feeling when you are home, look at yourself in the mirror and realise how bad it must have been before. The new you is much better. You feel terrific!
Clearing a space is inspiring and afterwards, once the energy settles, you feel ready to tackle something new. However, I would suggest this is not only about clearing out your undies drawer but also about the other stuff we take for granted.
That means taking a look at some old outdated ways of being or of thinking. Ways that have served you, in some way, in the past but that need to change for the future. Perhaps this relates to some way of behaving or reacting that just does not work anymore. You wish you could be different.
When you have created that space then you are open to embrace something new. Perhaps there is a new skill you want to develop which would be an exciting way for you to expand and grow. Do you know what that might be? Do you know how you would go about making it happen? Do you have the time and the commitment and will the people in your life support you or hinder you? How would it feel to do something for you that would enhance your development as a person?
It is scary to let go of the old stuff. But what fills its place is invariably a million times better.
If you are ready and willing to let go of the old and embrace the new and want somebody to guide you though the process, then I’d love to talk to you.
